Phyllis believes that even the most affluent members of the community experience stress maintaining a personal financial plan. CashPlan was created on the operating philosophy that everyone, even those individuals with above average income or substantial assets, will have stress managing income and cash flow, at some point in his or her life.
Phyllis is uniquely experienced to help her clients. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Phyllis participated as General Partner in one of the first Hotel Limited Partnerships in Canada in 1981. After this small Toronto hotel was sold in 1985, Phyllis operated two stores in Toronto, one on Danforth Avenue and the other in the Eaton Centre, until she joined the financial services industry in 1991. In 1995 she became an Investment Advisor with a small securities firm and in 1999 RBC Securities offered her a position where she would have more varied opportunities for clients. She then joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2003, where she remained with the Company until 2014. Since leaving BMO Nesbitt Burns she has concentrated on the development of CashPlan.
Phyllis is an engaging public speaker and enjoys the opportunity to talk about CashPlan, and how CashPlan works for you! She plans to host CashPlan Seminars and Workshops, and she also maintains a blog on the CashPlan website.
